Day 1 | Arrive in Delhi by Flight
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your 5* hotel for check-in.
Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi, created by the British Raj, is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium, giving the city a wealth of history waiting to be explored.

Day 2 | Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, your journey begins with a full-day guided tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi, visiting the famed Jama Masjid Mosque and Raj Ghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
Take a drive by the Red Fort, the palace for Shahjahan’s new capital, and a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. Your sightseeing experience will conclude with a drive by the ancient Kotla Firoze Shah Ruins and a visit to the historical monument of Agrasen Ki Baoli.
Following a fascinating morning filled with exploring, you’ll be transferred to a local restaurant for lunch, where you’ll get the chance to try traditional delicacies before you visit more monumental landmarks, including India Gate.

|
Day 3 | Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Agra, where you will be transferred to your next 5* hotel for check-in. You’ll also have the option to experience the Gatiamaan Express Train, which will take you directly from New Delhi to Agra.
Although Agra is an ancient city in India’s heartland, it came into prominence in medieval times when the lavish patronage of the Mughal rulers created forts, tombs, and palaces in red sandstone and marble, inlaid with semi-precious stones.
Enjoy an afternoon visit to Agra Fort built by Akbar in Red Sandstone when he was through with the consolidation of his power after accession to the throne in 1654. Agra Fort worked both as a military strategic point, as well as a royal residence.

|
Day 4 | Agra to Jaipur
Today you’ll rise with the sun, ready for an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, built as a monument dedicated to love by Shah Jahan after the death of his third wife. The Taj Mahal is the epitome of Mughal art and one of the most famous buildings in the world.
Post breakfast, take a drive from Agra to Jaipur and visit the magnificent fortified city, Fatehpur Sikri, en route. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your next hotel ahead of an evening visit to Birla Temple, where you’ll witness the Aarti Ceremony, a Hindu ritual often named the ‘ceremony of light’.
|
|
|
Day 5 | Jaipur
Start your full day of Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Amber, the ancient capital of the Rajput Empire, with its magnificent palaces and temples dominated by the stronghold of Amber Fort. Make the final part of the climb by jeep to marvel at the Royal Halls and the stupendous views from the ramparts.
This afternoon, take in the breathtaking views of the Palace of Winds, a five-storey structure made of pink sandstone, and visit the City Palace to witness the amazing astronomical observatory built by the city’s founder, Jai Singh II.

“The architecture and views were mesmerising everywhere we went, but the highlight for me had to be visiting the Taj Mahal, where we witnessed the sun setting on this beautiful masterpiece. Words cannot describe the feeling of visiting this awe-inspiring building.”
