Lovely chalet hotel, fantastic staff. Nice big lounge with plenty of comfy seating and a sunny balcony, a great spot to enjoy homemade cakes, cookies and a cup of tea at the end of the day’s skiing. The ski area is great for most standards of skiers and the Neilson guiding service is excellent.

* Snow Centre / Chill Factore Offer T&C’s
Book any Neilson Active Holidays ski holiday departing between 14 December 2024 and 13 April 2025 to receive a free lesson or one-month lift pass at the Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead or Chill Factore, Manchester. One free lesson or pass is applicable for each person aged four or over on the booking, subject to availability at the chosen location. Offer is valid for new bookings only, made between 16 April 2024 and 31 May 2024.
Bookings for all lift passes and lessons must be made directly with the Snow Centre or Chill Factore, providing the promocode/s that will be sent to the lead booker via the Neilson Sales Team. The promocode/s will be sent to the lead booker within 48 hours of holiday booking confirmation. 
All Snow Centre / Chill Factore bookings must be made within the applicable date ranges, and customers must ensure they meet the minimum skill requirements for their choice. Passes and lessons are non-transferable, have no cash value alternative, and only for use by the named person on the booking.
Neilson Active Holidays reserves the right to amend or withdraw offers anytime. In the event of any dispute, the decision of Neilson Active Holidays is final. The offer is not combinable with any other discounts or offers. Full T&Cs can be found on the website.
One Month Pass T&C’s
One month passes are available for anyone named on the booking, subject to meeting the requirements detailed by The Snow Centre and Chill Factore, details can be found on their website. The one-month pass can be used between 17 April and 30 September 2024 only, monthly Passes are valid from 1st until the end of each month. Monthly Passes cannot be used for events or Full Park Fridays. Closures and restrictions may apply. Please note, no further discount applies to lessons, food and drink or equipment hire.
Free Lesson T&C’s
One free group lesson can be selected by those aged 4 or over, named on the booking. The free lesson must be taken between 17 April and 30 September 2024 only and is subject to availability.
Those aged 17 or over can choose one Beginner, Improver, or Skills Development lesson. Each lesson is a group day session lasting 5 hours and includes instruction plus ski, boots and helmet hire.
Those aged between 4 and 11 can select a one-hour group lesson, inclusive of instruction plus ski, boots and helmet hire.
Those aged between 11 and 16 can select a 90-minute group lesson, inclusive of instruction plus ski, boots and helmet hire.
