Sailing Aboard Silver Dawn: My Incredible Silversea Experience

I’ve recently returned from a fantastic five days aboard Silversea’s stunning Silver Dawn ship and wanted to share some of my highlights from my trip around the Mediterranean. On-Board Silver Dawn

Stepping aboard alongside my fellow specialist cruise concierge, Rebecca, my first impression of Silver Dawn was that the ship is simply stunning with clean fresh décor and beautiful spaces. My favourite part of the ship itself has to be the spa area, which was the perfect place to relax, I honestly could have laid there for hours!

With 8 different dining venues, each a unique culinary experience, a few highlights for us were S.A.L.T, Spaccanoli, Atlantide and The Grill all of which I would highly recommend! While we didn’t get chance to try them all, we were lucky enough to receive a full restaurant tour during our time on-board and after seeing the stunning decor and delicious menus for myself, I can confirm that each of them are definitely worth a visit if you’re sailing with Silversea anytime soon.

We spent our time on-board staying in a Deluxe Veranda Suite boasting spacious living areas, where we had breakfast delivered to each day and ate on our private veranda with incredible ocean views. No matter which suite you choose to stay in, you can be sure to find everything you need to experience ultimate comfort at sea!

A Taste of the Mediterranean

During our sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon, we were able to visit some beautiful destinations across the Mediterranean including Monte Carlo and Palma de Mallorca, which looked wonderful in the spring sunshine! A Silversea cruise is truly one of the best ways to see the Mediterranean thanks to the cruise line’s European style and the fact that you can visit a diverse range of countries and cultures in such a short duration trip.
