On the 28th September 2024 a team of employee owners from Alfa Travel Head Office and Traffic Teams, joined by our friends at Re-engage, set out on an epic challenge to walk from Alfa Travel HQ in Chorley to our Leisureplex Queens Hotel in Blackpool.
26 miles – 11 Hours – 60,000 steps!
With big smiles (and sore feet) the whole team that started, completed the challenge, raising over £3,300 for Re-engage, supporting the fantastic work of the charity to reduce loneliness and isolation in older people.
This takes our grand total for the year so far to nearly £70,000!
This has been raised through our weekly Re-engage nights at Leisureplex Hotels as well as through the generous donations of our customers – so a massive thank you to everyone who has supported the charity so far!
