2024 has been a year full of hard work, dedication and incredible achievements. Recently our team of Employee Owners came together at the Hydro Hotel in Llandudno for our Annual Conference to celebrate all the milestones we’ve reached together and reflect on the highlights that made this year memorable.

We are thrilled to extend heartfelt congratulations to the following award-winning team members. Their unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience have not only set them apart, but have also contributed immensely to making Alfa Travel a leader in our industry. 

The Alfa Travel Coach Drivers of the Year

Our regular guests know how crucial a knowledgeable and friendly driver is to a memorable coach holiday. A driver with personality and character adds that extra WOW factor to any trip.

This long-standing award always sparks excitement and healthy competition among our driver team.

Leisureplex Hotels of the Year

We are proud to announce the winners of our much celebrated Leisureplex Hotel Awards. The Hotel of the Year Awards are based on many measures of performance including a huge emphasis on customer feedback. 

The hotels winning the awards showed great consistency throughout 2024 and are fully deserving of their awards.

We are excited to announce the recipient of our newly introduced Customer Excellence Award – Dave Hill, one of our exceptional coach drivers. 

This award celebrates individuals who go above and beyond in delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

The Driver Customer Excellence Award is a reflection of the positive impact our team members have on you, our valued guests. Dave’s dedication, professionalism, and consistent excellence have earned him recognition from not only you, the customers, but also his fellow drivers and team. 

Fundraising Team of the Year

We are excited to reveal that The Cumberland Hotel has been honoured with our new  Fundraising Award. This recognises the hotel’s remarkable dedication to supporting our chosen charity – Re-engage, raising an impressive amount over the past year.

The award celebrates not only the generosity of the team but also the impact they have in making a difference within the community. 

The Cumberland’s commitment to giving back truly sets them apart. A huge congratulations to The Cumberland Hotel for their outstanding efforts and well-deserved recognition as the first recipient of this award!
