After the iconic capital, you’ll head for Gyeongju’s elaborate temples and coastal Busan before heading west to lesser-visited Gwangju and Jeonju, the cultural capital where Koreans take their holidays.

| A real highlight of this adventure is the food. We’ve woven in a range of culinary experiences, from Seoul’s sizzling street food in Gwangjang Market to sharing a simple supper with the Buddhist monks at Golgulsa Temple. New specialities appear daily, but we recommend crunching eomuk (fried fish cakes), slurping spicy tteok-bokki (rice cakes in umami spicy sauce), and snacking on bite-sized gimbap (seaweed-wrapped rice, meat and veggies). We’re hungry already! |
