We are absolutely delighted to announce that Explore has been B Corp™ Certified!
We’ve been independently verified by the globally-recognised B Corporation to meet some of the highest standards out there, recognising that we’re doing everything we can to provide responsible, once-in-a-lifetime adventures while being a force for good and protecting our planet for generations of future travellers.
We’re proud to have achieved a score of 84.1, compared with the average business score of 50.9. It has been a great undertaking and a long process, but a hugely valuable one in which we’ve learned a lot about ourselves, our purpose and our direction of travel.
We’re also today publishing our first ever Purpose Paper, tracking our progress against our sustainability goals. Explore’s tours have always had sustainability at their heart – we want to ensure that our small groups have minimal footprint and maximum positive impact on the places we visit. We’ve made a commitment to continue our journey of improvement, to always strive to be better than yesterday.

Why we travel – the benefits |
|
Having measured the emissions of every one of our trips we’re now Clear on Carbon and working hard to reduce our emissions in line with our target of 50% reduction by 2030. But sustainability is about much more than just carbon, and there are greater benefits to tourism than just a light footprint. |
