Put February 3 in your diary! Punta Cana Village is full of music and colour at Carnival time. More than 20 national and international troupes appear in a parade that brings together around 1,500 participants with costumes that reflect traditional Dominican folklore. Areas are set aside for food trucks and the event culminates with a spectacular live concert.

Get ready for a combination of parades, concerts, local food and rhythm. Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and the streets of Kingston feature numerous special events and are full of Carnival costumes from 3 to 9 April.

Did you know that the Lisbon Carnival was the origin of today’s Carnival in Rio de Janeiro? Well, it was! Lisbon celebrates the Carnaval de los Villanos with fancy-dress parades and floats, jugglers, concerts and samba dancing. Enjoy it on 21 and 22 February.

Experience Carnival in London this summer! Enjoy the prestigious UK National Panorama Steelband Competition, which marks the beginning of the Carnival celebrations that fill the famous West London district with costume parades. From 24 to 26 August 2024.
