Twist your way along the Laurissilva Forest Levada and through curious tunnels. Discover majestic waterfalls and dramatic mountains, vivid flora and wonderful views over the village of São Jorge, then finish at Caldeirão Verde with its cascading waterfall.

Hop on the lift up to Pecol, then head all the way to Val Lasties and marvel at the sight of the famous Sella waterfalls and their clear natural pools. Wander along and enjoy the sights on this gorgeous, serene route taking you past some real gems of the local area.

Stroll along the edges of the glacier-fed Schlegeis Reservoir with it’s stunning blue waters. Follow forest trails all the way along to the end of the reservoir, enjoying mountain views and alpine flowers, then head to the Fischerhütte for a spot of lunch.

A definite must-do, start with a scenic train or cable car to Eigergletscher and traverse this famous trail below the North Face of the Eiger Mountain. Wonder at incredible mountain views and keep your eyes peeled for wildflowers and marmots.

Traverse 6km of national park scenery, starting at Lake Jasna, along the Pišnica stream towards the peak of the Razor Mountain and Vršič Mountain Pass. Wander through vibrant meadows and shady forests and grab local treats at the Krnica Mountain Hut.
