Travel for good
Newmarket Holidays volunteering days
 
Dons Local Action Group is a charity that aims to help those in our local community fight poverty by keeping the community fed, connected and supported. 
 
Since their establishment in March 2020, the charity has distributed food for over 5.5 million meals to those in need across the Kingston, Merton and Wandsworth boroughs.
 
Our Sustainability Executive, Charlotte, was part of the Newmarket Holidays teams that spent the day helping DLAG:  
“Although it is extremely devastating how many people are affected by food poverty, I feel very grateful to have been able to spend time giving back to the local community and contributing to the fantastic work that DLAG does.”

 

A South American exploration

 

Brazil and Argentina
A duo of incredible countries awaited Stephanie, our Sales and Service Manager, when she travelled on our tour to Brazil and Argentina.
 
She was excited to visit the iconic landmarks, amazing cities and beautiful landscapes abundant in this area of South America. By the sounds of it, it didn’t disappoint!
 
“I was lucky enough to experience our tour to Brazil and Argentina, and what can I say, it blew me away! 
 
I am so grateful to have had such an amazing opportunity, and I cannot recommend the tour enough. It made me feel so proud to say I work for Newmarket Holidays. 
 
Not only will I be going back to explore some more with my husband, but I have come home with some new friends, and we’re already planning our reunion trip next year.”
