But no matter how many teabags you pack in your case (Yorkshire Tea came out top in our most recent Facebook poll), there something a bit special about sipping a cuppa from a plantation you’ve actually walked around. In Sri Lanka’s ‘hill country’ and India’s lush Kangra Valley, we’ll take you to emerald-green plantations, where you can watch expert pickers plucking the finest leaves and learn the art of tea ‘grading’.
