Casa Clàt’s nine suites were designed by local artist Giorgio Casu, and the result is a unique creation that spans multiple eras and incorporates the work of many other Sardinian artists, designers, and craftspeople.

WESENSE SANTORINI

Santorini, Greece

The village of Imerovigli is known as the “balcony of Santorini,” with some of the highest and closest views of Santorini’s volcanic caldera. It’s also home to many of the island’s top attractions, restaurants, and hotels, including the WeSense, an extra-small hotel that contains a mere two units: a Cave Suite and a Cave Villa.

The Texas-based Bunkhouse hotel group is making moves in Mexico City. The San Fernando keeps the name of the building it calls home, a distinctive 1947 apartment building in Condesa, while its interiors have been thoroughly reimagined by Bunkhouse and local firm Reurbano.

SOLO PALACIO

Quirós, Spain

The concept at Solo Palacio is wabi-sabi, the Japanese idea of taking pleasure in imperfection and impermanence. Accordingly, this 16th-century estate has been restored, but not to perfection; and while the experience is a luxurious one, everything feels unpretentiously rough-edged and charmingly handmade.
