In my 30s I wanted to travel—but my friends were settling down, and every group trip I found felt too young or too old. I wanted to go solo without feeling alone. And that’s why I started Flash Pack: to bring together like-minded people for epic, feel-good adventures around the world.

One of the easiest countries to explore, yet full of variety. In just days, you can go from spotting elephants to sipping tea in the highlands to relaxing on palm-lined beaches – all with incredible food and warm hospitality.

I experienced this trip last year, and it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Watching the sun rise over the Serengeti from a converted safari Jeep – with nothing between you and the greatest show on Earth – is a moment I’ll never forget. 

One of our favorite moments? Cycling through East Tokyo, a trendy, off-the-beaten-path neighborhood that Lee and I uncovered on our very first research trip. It’s these hidden gems that make our journey different.

It’s no surprise this is our top-selling trip of 2025. Albania is full of surprises – short scenic drives take you from mountain peaks to the turquoise waters of the Albanian Riviera. It rivals Greece and Croatia, but feels more untouched.

Yes, you’ll need to take a few flights, but every mile is worth it. From the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia to ancient ruins and beachside bliss, Turkey is rich in culture, flavor, and history. It ticks every box – and I can’t wait to return.

Portugal has become my personal go-to – and this summer, I’m heading to the Azores. I keep going back for the wine-tasting in Douro Valley, the design-led hotels in Ericeira, and the laid-back charm of Lisbon.
