“If I could choose the perfect safari in Tanzania, it would be a two-week exploration of Ruaha and Nyerere. The guided walks, boating, and low visitor numbers really appeal to me – and it’s so off the beaten path! I love that southern and northern animal species merge in Ruaha, so game drives are exciting. It’s not about ticking off a list; ideally a slower safari here is perfect. And, of course, the conservation efforts are brilliant. Nyerere is so huge with such a difference in scenery, that in an ideal world, 7 to 8 days between two camps would be amazing.”
