 We’re celebrating the spirit of Ireland today and one word that sums it up for us is “craic”: fun, enjoyment, or good times. 

Where else would you have a pint in a pub that’s also a hardware store and a bike rental place? Be somewhere that reminds you of a galaxy far, far away? Or meet quirky local buskers like the Dog & the Donkey?

This is how you fill your heart with Ireland. It’s why we return here time and again. Why we continue to explore and discover new places… places we want to take you. In Ireland you always expect the unexpected and no matter where you start your journey from, you’ll soon realise just how special the Emerald Isle really is.

Reach out with your feelings. You’re standing at Malin Head in Donegal. Feel the power of the roaring Atlantic and stare at the wave-lashed cliffs to understand why this place was chosen to represent the sacred world for the Jedi.

Hear the lively tunes in a pub

Just imagine… after a day of exploring you push open the old wooden doors of a local pub. The band is playing toe-tapping music and you are overcome with the urge to dance a jig while sipping on a frothy Guinness.

Explore the tiny

There’s something special in exploring a tiny area or a tiny place. It makes you realise just how much magic is in every little thing. Like running across a golden beach that stretches for miles. Or walking around the walls of a crumbling stone fort.
