We’ve become aware that some Sailors are being targeted by scammers and fraudsters. As part of our commitment to keeping you safe and secure when you sail with us, we ask that you read the below tips to help avoid these schemes and protect your personal information.

To ensure a secure and seamless booking experience, we urge all Sailors to:

• Purchase Tickets Directly: Purchasing from a stranger looking to resell their “voyage” can likely be a scam. Book your cruise tickets only through virginvoyages.com, authorized First Mates (i.e., registered travel advisors), or our Sailor Services team.
• Verify Sellers: If purchasing through a travel advisor, ensure they are an authorized partner of Virgin Voyages, that is, a “First Mate”.
• Be Cautious on Social Media: Avoid engaging with individuals or accounts offering discounted tickets on social media platforms. These offers are often scams.
• Protect Your Reservation ID: Treat your reservation ID as confidential. Do not share it with others or post it on social media.
